3. Episode Format Drag & Drop

This is where you'll set your standard episode format. You'll only need to set this once, but if you ever want to change things up this is where you'd do it.

Click here for detailed instructions on how to use this.

4. Podcast Information

It's important to make sure each of these fields are completed.

The fields in this section are listed below with descriptions in order of appearance.

1. Podcast Title

This field should have your podcast title formatted exactly as it appears on the streaming platforms! (If your podcast isn't live yet, enter it exactly how you'd like it to appear on streaming platforms)

2. Host's Name

This field should contain the name of the person (s) that host the podcast. This should be formatted exactly as you'd like the name to appear on production assets.

Good Examples:

Bob Johnson

Bob Johnson and Vik Daniels

Dr. Jacob Tester

Bad Examples:

Bob Johnson, Founder of Test Org.

Dr. Jacob the Legendary Master.

3. Editing Notes

This field is your place to include anything that you want to make certain won't get missed by the production team. Here's an example of what good production notes look like:

Notes:

-Do not use the word “cure" in show notes. Always say “heal” instead or you can say “reverse disease.”

-Always upload SQUARE picture to “Featured Image”

4. Calls to Action

You should use this field to include any calls-to-action that you'd like us to include at the bottom of each copy of show notes.

Here's a good example:

To learn more, share feedback, or share guest ideas, please visit our website, or contact us on Facebook and Twitter.

Like what you've heard? Please review us! That helps let other people know about the podcast.

My Test Podcast is dedicated to raising awareness about important issues around Test #1 and Test #2. I'd love to learn more about what's on your mind and get your feedback about the show. Contact me directly at [email protected] to share your thoughts or arrange a call.

5. Content Rating

This dropdown will allow you to select your standard content rating for your podcast. This helps us ensure we're labeling the content appropriately when publishing.

Explicit content is defined as episodes containing profanity or content that may not be suitable for children

6. Episode Type

This drop-down will allow you to select the standard type of episodes that you release. The options are Interview Episodes, Solo Episodes, and a Mix of Both.

7. Delivery Schedule

This drop-down allows you to select your standard delivery schedule. After you make a selection, when uploading episodes your delivery date will automatically be set accordingly.

Delivery Schedule Dropdown

You'll be presented with these options:

48 Hours from Upload Date

This is our earliest standard turn time. This option should primarily be used in cases where Streamlined Podcasts is not publishing the episodes to the final destination. If you haven't enabled Auto Publishing yet, this will be your only option.

48 Hours from Go-Live Date

If you've enabled Auto Publishing, then your default turn-time will be this selection. This will set your delivery date to 48 hours before your go-live date. This will give you time to ensure you provide any feedback before your episode is live!

Custom Turn Times

If you have a process in place that requires you to have your podcasts back from production 3 days before go-live or even 11 days, simply select this option and input the number of days you'd like to receive it before Go-Live.

8. Primary / Secondary Colors

You can use these two color picker elements in order to set the primary brand color and your secondary brand color. After making selections, you'll see the changes reflected in the gradient background of the header.
